Diana Krall

The pianist and singer Diana Krall is the only jazz singer whose eight albums have debuted at #1 on the Billboard Jazz Albums chart.

To date, she has won three Grammy Awards and eight Juno Awards. She has also earned nine gold, three platinum and seven multi-platinum albums.

Simple Minds

Simple Minds are: Jim Kerr (vocals), Charlie Burchill (guitars, keyboards), Gordy Goudie (acoustic guitar), Ged Grimes (bass), Cherisse Osei (drums), and Sarah Brown (vocals).

Considered one of the most influential bands of the 80´s, they conquered the US and worldwide markets, topping the charts with songs like “Don’t You (Forget About Me)”.

Throughout their career, they were nominated twice for the Brit Awards, once for the American Music Awards, twice for the MTV Video Music Awards and won the Q Music Award for Best Live Band.

Vetusta Morla

Vetusta Morla emerged on the music scene with their first concert in 1998. A despite modest beginnings, the band achieved notoriety after winning second place in the Hortaleza Music Contest with their first demo “13 Horas con Lucy”. Then, with their debut EP “Mira”, released under their own record label “Pequeño Salto Mortal”, Vetusta Morla consolidated their presence in the Spanish and international music scene, captivating audiences with their unique style and profound lyrics.

With Juan Pedro “Pucho” Martín as the main vocalist, Guillermo Galván and Juan Manuel Latorre on guitars and keyboards, respectively, with Alejandro Notario, Álvaro B. Baglietto, David García “El Indio” on bass and drums, and Jorge González on percussion and programming.

Psychedelic Furs

The Psychedelic Furs, an iconic British punk rock band of the 1970s, emerged in the midst of the effervescent punk movement in England. Initially known as “RKO” and then “Radio”, they eventually adopted the name “The Psychedelic Furs”.

As their music evolved, they underwent a transition towards a more pop sound, which led them to a more pop sound, which brought them recognition in the UK and later in the US.

Noa

Noa, the outstanding Israeli singer, presents her new show “Best of Noa”, a journey through her greatest hits and the highlights of her career. From her iconic song “Beautiful that way”, from the film ‘Life is beautiful’, to her recent forays into jazz and her tribute to Bach, Noa demonstrates her versatility and unique talent.

With over three decades of experience, Noa has conquered international stages such as Carnegie Hall and the White House, collaborating with renowned figures such as Pat Metheny and Quincy Jones. Recognised as Commander of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Italy and Goodwill Ambassador to the UN, Noa has been Goodwill Ambassador to the UN, Noa has been honoured for her commitment to peace and artistic excellence.

Mikel Izal

Mikel Izal, a talented Spanish artist, rose to prominence on the music scene with the band IZAL, formed in 2010. With hits such as “La mujer de verde” and “Copacabana”, the band achieved gold and platinum certifications. In addition to his work with IZAL, Mikel has left his mark as a composer for other projects, most notably his collaboration with Raphael and Deportivo Alavés.

After an emotional farewell at the WiZink Center in Madrid, Mikel announces his solo project in 2023. His new album promises a captivating sound experience and a lyrical depth that reflects his evolution as an artist. With this step, Mikel Izal continues to consolidate his place as one of the benchmarks of contemporary Spanish music.

María José Llergo

María José Llergo, the revelation of contemporary flamenco, dazzles with her magnetism and authenticity. Since her debut with “Niña de las Dunas”, her rise has been meteoric, conquering international stages and the film scene with her song “Te Espera el Mar”. Recognised as a singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist, her EP “Sanación” fuses flamenco roots with electronic music, gaining worldwide recognition.

Her latest album, “Ultrabelleza”, acclaimed by Pitchfork and Rolling Stone magazine, establishes her as one of the most influential voices of the moment. Winner of the Ruido Award and acclaimed at the El Ojo Crítico Awards, María José Llergo crosses borders with a US tour, bringing with her the essence of flamenco and diversity. Her art, rooted in tradition but open to innovation, makes her an indisputable innovation, makes her an indisputable point of reference in contemporary music.

Patti Smith

Patti Smith, the iconic figure in the world of art and culture, has left an indelible mark on music, literature and activism. From her humble beginnings in New York City in the 1960s to her consecration as a global icon, she has dazzled the world with her evocative music and profound lyrics. With classic albums such as “Horses” and “Easter”, and an impressive collection of literary works, including the acclaimed “Just Kids”, which won her the National Book Award in 2010, she has received accolades and recognition for her contribution to art and literature.

In addition to her artistic career, she is also a passionate advocate for human rights and environmental protection, getting involved in causes such as Pathway to Paris to address climate change.

Coque Malla

27th September - 8:30pm open doors, 9:30pm show - Generalife Theatre

Coque Malla, an outstanding singer and actor, began his musical career at the age of 15 as vocalist, guitarist and leader of the rock band Los Ronaldos, with whom he recorded five successful albums and toured Spain, Chile and Cuba.

After the group disbanded in 1998, he focused on his solo career and acting, releasing albums such as “Soy un astronauta más” and “Sueños”. He continued his musical career with hits such as “No puedo vivir sin ti”, and acclaimed albums such as “La hora de los Gigantes” and “Mujeres”.

In 2018, Coque Malla won his first Goya Award for the song “Este es el momento”, part of the soundtrack of Javier Fesser’s film “Campeones”.
