Sunday - Relaxation at the Spa Customers coming from Madrid will arrive at 12.15h in Ourense, so lunch at the Tannery is included. The rest of travellers from other origins (Barcelona, Malaga, Valencia, etc) will arrive in Ourense at 16.25h (lunch not included) and will be able to enjoy a special welcome dinner (included). With the arrival of the train to Ourense, we will welcome you and take you to a bus ride along the Miño river, where you will be able to experience the first goodness of this welcoming land, between vineyards and water, and dotted with small villages that will give you a rough idea of all that you will be able to see during these days. As travelling is tiring, and very tiring, our welcome at the spa hotel will be with a refreshing Ribeiro's wine, chosen by us, where we will give you an idea of all the activities you will be able to enjoy: of course, the use of the spa and its pools for 2 hours (included in the package). Day 2. Monday : Hiking in the natural park of Xurés. Today we will visit the wild interior of Ourense, in one of the most spectacular natural parks in Galicia: O Xurés. In this park we will not only enjoy its nature, its waterfalls of transparent water that invites us to bathe, or its shy and shy fauna. Because so many cultures have passed through these mountains, in so many eras, that it seems like an afternoon of puff pastry that, underneath a layer, has more and more where to look for the sweet. We will visit an exceptional temple, Santa Comba de Bande, considered the best preserved temple of Visigothic art in the Iberian Peninsula, where Marisé, the neighbour who looks after it, will kindly open it for us to enjoy a National Monument. From there we will go on a small route of just over 5 km (easy route with no gradients), a mountain route, an ancient Roman road, where we can once again feel small and humble in front of the beauty of Creba da Corga, a series of 14 waterfalls of fresh and transparent water, and finish at the Lobios spa. There we can see the so-calledhyperthermalism, super hot, saline water that cures rheumatic ailments. We will have lunch at the hotel-spa, tasting the sea and the land combined in traditional dishes that will reward us for our efforts along the way. And in the afternoon, the main course: a splendid visit to the largest monastery in southern Galicia.,Celanova, the cradle of Galician poetry, of its spirituality, coeval with the inventio of Santiago de Compostela. As well as being large and beautiful, many of its secrets will be revealed to us, such as the relationship of the chapel of San Miguel with the equinoxes and pagan beliefs. Dinner will be plated and served at the hotel. Day 3. Tuesday : Ribeira Sacra and much more (cultural day) We like to start off strong, we don't want to hide anything: this second day, with our bodies relaxed and our souls comforted, we will make a wonderful visit to the Ribeira Sacra, an area that brings together in a very small space almost all the goodness of Galicia. The first thing we will do is to visit an artisan, a potter in which the Galician olive oil tradition is concentrated, in a beautiful place, the Reitoral de Gundivós. Nearby, pottery fragments have been found in Iron Age forts that are the same as those still made in this area today. The attachment to tradition is undeniable. We will be able to see live the traditional process of clay firing and we will be able to experience with our own hands a craft older than human civilisations. We will make a route of "viewpoints" where we will start by the viewpoint of Pena do Castelo and we will continue by the viewpoint of Souto Chao. Here we will be able to appreciate a view that you will fall in love with and also take the best photos. From here we will go to the viewpoint of Aba Sacra, where we will see the reason for the term "heroic viticulture", in a landscape that makes us feel small and humble and which will be the last stage before descending to the bottom of the canyon. All to end up in the excellent Parador Nacional de Santo Estevo, where we will enjoy a fabulous lunch. We will visit the cloisters, each with its own legends; the impressive church with its mixture of Romanesque and Gothic styles; and we will take a short walk to enjoy the forest and the Peneda dos Catro Ventos, passing by a small Celtic castro and the monastery's old apothecary garden, one of the things that made this place famous. At the end, tired and satisfied, we will return, as we do every day, to enjoy a well-deserved rest. Dinner will be plated and served at the hotel. Day 4. Wednesday | The star day: dedicated to health and wellness We want you to spend this day taking care of yourselves, pampering yourselves and relaxing. You will enjoy 1 technique included that you will have to choose between: Niagara Bath (INCLUDED) 15 min Bathtub with 180 computer-controlled pressurised water outlets, which allows each of the six body zones to be programmed with the projections that affect the body surface. The massage effect ascends from feet and ankles, knees, hips, lumbar, dorsal and cervical areas, finishing with the 180 jets simultaneously. Vichy Massage (OPTIONAL FOR 49€ PER PERSON) The Vichy massage is a massage capable of relaxing, stimulating or invigorating body and mind. In a specialised cabin, with an installation prepared for sea water, dim lighting and a relaxed atmosphere. In addition, we will provide you with a document with all the recommendations: what to see, what to visit in Allariz so that you can enjoy an absolute day out. For lunch, we will enjoy a special menu of beef at Casa Rural Vilaboa, specialists in this type of dishes (water and wine included). Day 5. Thursday : Oseira Monastery and the big octopus From there we will depart directly to the town of San Cristóbal de Cea to visit the Monastery of Santa María la Real de Oseira. This monastery, known by many as "the Galician Escorial" given its grandeur and magnificence, began to be built during the second half of the 12th century for the Cistercian order, who throughout their history were of great economic and social importance in the region. The church, with Gothic and Baroque elements, is the most important part of this monumental complex. Despite having been abandoned for almost a century due to the confiscations, the monastery was restored and monastic life continues to survive within its walls. To get to know in depth the jewels that this place holds, we will enjoy a one-hour guided tour led by a specialised guide from the monastery itself. At the end of the visit, we will head towards the municipality of Carballiño for lunch in a specialised restaurant where we will enjoy traditional dishes, such as the octopus a feira, the bread of Cea, always alluding to traditional Galician gastronomy and with products of the highest quality. *Beers and soft drinks not included. It is time to return home, you will be taken to Ourense station. *The itinerary and timetable may be altered or modified if necessary.
